We first want to thank you for your support for Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 and Hero HQ. We hope you thoroughly enjoyed wielding the power of the largest army of Super Heroes and being part of the Hero HQ online community. This is the start of what we envision to be a long standing relationship with some very important people, you the fans. Hero HQ is your place to get all your info for Marvel Activision games. You’ll get first looks, exclusive access, swag, and more!
Second, we hope you guys battled your hearts out and loved every moment of Civil War Online. If you liked playing it half as much as we did making it we’re completely satisfied. We will however be taking Civil War Online down on 12/31/09. It will be transitioned over to and run by Marvel.com then. We will let you know of any updates in the future.
Thanks for being part of the Hero HQ community! Be sure to stay tuned for updates and future announcements and a big year for HeroHQ 2010.
Happy Holidays!

MUA2 Superfans,
We had a Game with Developers session when we first launched the game in September. We got such a positive response from you that the developers want to get back online and play with you all again tomorrow. This time you not only get to play with all the Super Heroes and Villains from the original game, but if you purchase the Character and Simulation Mission Pack you also get to play as these 5 new characters
• Carnage
• Magneto
• Psylocke
• Cable
• Black Panther
Timing
• Friday November 6, 2009 from 5-7PM EST / 2-4PM PST
• On Xbox Live
• For more info click here
Note
There are two packs online. One is 800 MS points that you purchase so you can play as all 5 characters and play through the simulation missions. The second is free and is a compatibility pack. This allows those of you who do not purchase the pack to play with friends online who did. If you don’t you won’t be able to see your friends new characters.

What was the overriding “theme” or direction you tried to capture with Magneto?
Adam Olshan
Lead Animator
It was important to capture the feeling of “control” when animating Magneto. He’s a mutant who is in total control of his environment. He never expends any unnecessary effort. Magneto doesn’t throw haymaker punches or perform acrobatic roundhouse kicks. He is a master of his surroundings, to the point where he uses those surroundings to defeat his enemies. His movements generally keep him upright; in his posing, Magneto always feels balanced and in command.
